Octopus Energy do have a tariff called Super Green (https://octopus.energy/supergreen/) which is offset through projects around the world. If you aren’t on that tariff, it won’t be offset. Either way, however, I would say that using gas is bad for the environment, and customers should try to reduce their use as much as possible.
